Does web hosting affect my search engine ranking?
Many people wonders whether my web host can affect my search engine ranking. Someone says yes and someone says no!
Frankly speaking, it has effect on your search engine ranking.
First, if they are using a shared IP address and there are some bad neighbours sharing the same IP address with you, your website could be penalized.
Second, unreliable web host has many downtime, in case a search engine crawler visits your site and found it is down, your site could be affected, e.g. web page could be de-listed, no update, etc…
Your web host could also affect your local search engine results.
